Endorsements & Testimonials

As always, we are so grateful to God for how He is blessing My Sonshine Foundation. We are also thankful to our donors for enabling us to support homeless and underprivileged students, adults, and families. We are excited to share the messages below that are a testament to the impact we are having - together!

The Boyce L. Ansley School

July 2025

My Sonshine Foundation has been, and continues to be, an incredibly generous and committed supporter of The Ansley School. Over the past two years, they have provided our students with brand-new shoes on multiple occasions, helping them start the school year with confidence and pride. They have also generously provided meals for our students and their families during key school events such as Back to School Night, the End of School Celebration, and various holiday gatherings. Beyond just supplying food, members of the Foundation personally serve at these events, creating a warm and welcoming experience for our families.

One of the most meaningful contributions from My Sonshine Foundation is the creation of The Amari Mitchell Determination Award, which recognizes two 5th-grade students each year for demonstrating exceptional perseverance and determination. This award was a true highlight of our 5th Grade Moving Up Ceremony, with each recipient receiving an engraved plaque and a gift card—an inspiring moment for our entire school community.

My Sonshine Foundation continues to be a valued and enthusiastic partner, always ready to support our students and mission. At The Ansley School, we often say that we value consistency—and we are truly grateful to have such a strong, reliable, and impactful partnership with My Sonshine Foundation.

Warren Memorial United Methodist Church

July 2025

At Warren Memorial United Methodist Church, we are honored to partner with the My Sonshine Foundation in its Christ-centered mission to serve the homeless, support underprivileged individuals and families, and walk alongside bereaved parents.

The foundation exemplifies the love of Christ through its ministry to the homeless, the underprivileged, and to parents who are walking the difficult journey of grief. Their commitment to nurturing the most vulnerable among us reflects the very heart of Christian discipleship.

Our collaboration with the foundation is more than a shared mission—it is a shared calling. Together, we work to bring hope, healing, and restoration to individuals and families in need, and we are honored to work with the foundation.

With heartfelt appreciation and continued support, I wholeheartedly affirm the mission and ongoing work of the My Sonshine Foundation. May this ministry continue to shine as a beacon of God’s love in our community and beyond.

Our House
(homeless shelter)

July 2025

Our House is deeply grateful for the unwavering support of the My Sonshine Foundation and their dedication to serving families experiencing homelessness in metro Atlanta. Through their generous contributions, they have helped nourish our shelter residents by providing meals, created a welcoming clinic library for patients and families to enjoy while they wait, and supplied essential items like diapers and comforter sets that bring comfort and dignity to those we serve. Their commitment has made a meaningful difference in the lives of countless families on their journey toward stability and independence.
